We are currently looking for a graduate engineer, preferably with some commercial experience in the UK.
T3EC is a young business expanding through an increased volume of business due to client recommendations. We provide engineering design from foundation through to superstructure on a wide variety of projects in different market sectors ranging from domestic extensions to large, high-profile new-build developments involving offsite construction techniques in light gauge steel and timber.
All staff need to be motivated and comfortable in dealing with clients, as we encourage a high level of client interaction. In return, we offer a flexible working environment, personalised training and support a high level of responsibility.
We are based in Cambridgeshire, but our client base is spread throughout the UK.
Applications should be emailed with a CV and covering email to Dr John Tellett at firstname.lastname@example.org
We also welcome speculative applications, are open to discussing opportunities for further collaboration with other small consultancies operating in the field and may be in a position to offer work to those able to offer specific skills on a part time basis.
We are looking to add another graduate engineer or engineering technician to our small but growing international team to work on design projects. We’re willing to consider good candidates at all levels of experience including recent graduates, but previous experience working for a structural engineering consultancy in the UK would be an advantage.
In particular we are looking for:
- A degree in structural/civil engineering and/or relevant professional experience working as an engineer or technician in a structural or civil engineering consultancy
- An interest in continued career development as a structural engineer including an interest in developing skills across a wide range of construction techniques and project sizes.
- Practical working knowledge of AUTOCAD, TEDDS, TEKLA STRUCTURE DESIGNER, REVIT and QUICKSOFT design packages would be an advantage. Competency in CAD drawing and detailing would be an advantage.
- Engineering design and analysis experience in the common materials steel, concrete, timber and masonry to UK building regulations would be a significant advantage.
Salary will be negotiable depending on experience. Benefits to include performance bonus, pension, professional fees and could include flexible working.
